and now for the bad....

My dad decided he wants the car till at least I come back from Germany, so it's getting shipped to Florida. But hey, at least he'll put some money/labor into it while I'm away and it will be more complete when I get back.

I'm here this weekend to evaluate it's condition and get it ready for transport. We didn't try to start it.

WHAAAAT!!??? That thing looks sporty, Drew. This should be a ton of fun for you and your boy. Is that him with his head all sideways, behind the wheel?

Yup. That's him in the first pic.

Why are you moving to Germany? The reason you gave us has resolved itself. You have a new boy, a new Model A, why leave?

Wow..that is a solid Model A... is it original, or an older resto?

Wow, what a nice little car! There's not a thing wrong in the entire world with a Model A rumble seat roadster, especially not at the price you paid! Best of luck with it!

I've wanted to move to germany since before that situation happened. That wasn't the original reason, but it helped. I want to go to germany because I think living in europe for a few years would be fun. But also because it now looks like germany might be a good place to hide from the financial turmoil that is about to hit this country. My boy is going with me. We'll be back.

Well, it will be an adventure. Have fun and warm that camera up, because I want to see an unbiased account of life in my ancestral home.

Now THAT is a Ford worthy of praise...

I'm so @%#$&* jelaous right now my face is turning green

Trade you straight up for a much more practical "modern" Mercedes hardtop!

I'm just throwing that out there... just in case... ok, well... you know where to

find me if you change your mind or you know, whatever. Seriously...

Not to hijack the thread, but dude, where the hell did you meet that Challenger?! I'm even more envious of you!

PPPFpfpffpf, that's actually the fourth one I've seen, the first being on Rt.128

about a month ago when I was driving out to take a preliminary looksie AT

THE 500SEC & get a test TEST-DRIVE. It was black, on a car carrier. The next

two I saw were also black, one on a car carrier being bulled by a Freightliner

and the other at some dealership. (in Boston IIRC)

The deal is, it's gotta stay in the family. Sorry.

Oh I understand.... I wouldn't consider that a realistic trade anyway.

My MB is pretty damn cool but your Pre-War car eclipses almost

every single car on this forum, possibly even including my B59.
