Looking at the pic of the car from above, I noticed some character lines on the deckid that I hadn't noticed previously--down the center and creases extending from the bottom of the C-pillars diagonally into the decklid...cool.

Ya, I noticed that too. This car looks so good from that overhead view.

I think it's funny that they used a photo of the Camaro concept on page 3.

A google turned up a pic of a rim with a trim ring that kind of looked like an '80s S-10/Blazer wheel..don't know if that is accurate, it looks like camaroz28.com has pics, but they require registration to view them

Yes..that's the one I saw...reminds me of a larger version of the '80s S-10/Blazer wheel.

Hmm... that steel rim doesn't look bad, imo.

Looks like an update of a 70s non-Corvette rally wheel used on Chevelles and Novas (among others).

Interesting they went with a steel wheel w/ trim ring and plastic center..even the most basic V6 Mustang has aluminum wheels...

Reminds me of something like a '77-'81 Z28 steel rim.

Most of the 2nd gens had a similar wheel. I like it, a lot.

I don't really find the steel rims attractive, IMHO.

I like those base wheels. Alot in black or white or gray they would look hot.

I'm sorry, gm4life, but seeing them on an actual production Camaro makes me hate them even more.

Looks like I'm going to be looking for an aftermarket solution to this problem unless GM decides to offer an aluminum wheel option for the LS models.

I actually think they give it a unique look sort of neo-retro. Honestly if I get one it will be an RS/SS or an RS/LT or a stripper LS.

Mine will be the stripper LS model, so I guess there's no way I can get around the base steel wheels unless, like I said, GM offers an upgrade.

Well, considering that even a base Mustang, which stickers around seventeen-grand, doesn't feature them, you come to expect a little more for your money out of the base Camaro, which won't sticker as low as the aforementioned Mustang.

The Camaro will be way better car anyways so it is worth the price.
