As seen on Autoblog. It's funny, without the article, you really can't make out what brand it is...this just as easily could be some GM Epsilon II or a Toyota..

In the article it was thought to be a Hyundai Equus replacement, but they thought it was an Azera-based Kia generic.

the top half looks malibu level good, without direct photo comparison.

Actually, if the Forte and next gen Sorento are any indication, Kia might finally be coming into its own as far as styling. In fact, Kia might actually be ahead of its Hyundai parent company as far as styling (which I realize is not saying much, but I do find it sort of bizarre). If this trend continues, the car in the spy shot might turn out to be much better looking than its Azera platform mate (and definitely better than the current Amanti, which is an odd combo of Lincoln Town Car combined with Mercedes/Jaguar design cues). I am sort of looking forward to seeing this car without its camo. It would be interesting to see Kia finally finding a solid place for itself in the market. I'm not a Kia fan (or a Hyundai fan either), but the design direction they have implemented with the upcoming Forte is fascinating.

I see a greenhouse that resembles a Lexus ES.

Impressed I am not.

It's RWD I believe

Yes, I was about to say, if there is going to be any future "luxury" Kia model, it would most likely be based on the Hyundai Genesis.

Nope.

Mr. Doane, it has been a while. I hope you are doing good. Have you caught any new fishes (vehicles) in your net (lenses)?

It is believed to be Kia's version of Hyundai's Genesis. And, yeah, I do agree that Kia tries to differentiate itself from Hyundai, which is a good thing. After all, they WERE both competing seperate brand at first, before Kia got bankrupt and later bought in whole by Hyundai.

Apparently, it's the Kia 'VG'..FWD..there are 3 articles on this site, if you scroll down, the greenhouse of the disguised car in this thread is the same..

Kia VG articles on Car Blorgger

Hmm, upon looking at that pic, it seems Kia is doing the same thing as Hyundai did with their Genesis. Ripping off. This time, they pretty much COPIED the BMW 5-series front. Besides the new Kia grille, the first glance I get, is the ripped off Bimmer right off the bat. In some angles, it also look like a Genesis re-badge with a slightly thinner headlights and a different grille. Shame on you Kia.
