California uses more gas than China!

Featured Replies

our military uses more oil than any other "organization"

this isn't that surprising, what's their population? how much is wasted in "gridlock"?

CA's infrastructure has not kept up to it's past growth....obviously. aren't they so progressive. :D

....thank god for CAFE. lol

Maybe California breaking off the No. American continent and sinking into

the Pacific really WILL happen... :P And Al Gore will weep with extacy.

Great... now the legislators will be even more motivated to have higher CAFE in CA.

Arrrhhghveneedmoelawz. absezlutly.

Sorry that was my best attempt at Arnold-speak.

Listening to that man pronounce "California" is one of the pure, simple joys in life.

Well of course California uses more fuel than anyone else! The Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles are the busiest port system in the world, and what powers ships? Diesel. Trucks are necessary to ship goods to and from the ports, and what do they use? Diesel. Based on the blog post, I cannot tell if LAX and its jet fuel factors into the equation or not, but regardless CA already has more freeways, busier ports, and more truck traffic than anywhere else in the world.
