I thought it was a pretty cool story, and I love the ending.

That was a blast from the past! It's been years since I've seen that little clip...I think I was maybe 5 or 6 when I last saw it, but it was one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. I can't remember where I would've seen it though. My mom is a teacher, so I wonder if she had a VHS taped of it.

Wow, that was great. I remember watching this in elementary school. I miss cartoons that don't suck.

Disney Channel?

Seriously, I loved this one, too. My first best friend lived across the street, and his mother's name was Susie and she had a blue coupe when we were little.

i remember seeing this sometime. prolly an insiration for "Cars".

The title of the thread gave it away.

Saw that a few times in the 1980s.... and just recently with Sofia, great story.

I luv that!!!

I had never heard of or seen it before.

Man, I like that type of animation. So sweet.

Thanks Blu for sharing.

Whoa, Harley... that picture of Susie is a little too much. She's parked sideways (chemically impaired?) on the corner of Pine and Cone streets with a seductive look in her eye (coincidentally right in front of the word DRUG in capital letters). Was Susie like an automotive Eve, seducing scores of young American men (Adam) into loving her, only to become addicted to gasoline... that paradise from which we are being cast out of? Is CAFE a reaction to the massive effect Susie has had on us? I say GIVE IN TO YOUR DESIRES! Drink, drink the gasoline to your heart's content, for tomorrow we die!:)

Dude, it's waaaaaay too early to be this impaired while posting. Please, for your health, lay off the sauce.

Disney... like cars & music, was at it's most creeative & amazing in the '50s & '60s.

That picture is really creeping me out. I wonder if the 'Drugs' sign is just more of the subliminal stuff people find in Disney videos. :P

Well, the narrator was also the voice of the perpetually-stoned Winnie the Pooh.

You guys!....quit!...you are ruining my little blissful experience of this nice little cartoon.

If I saw this as a little boy, I think I'd want my life to just stop then and there, I'd be so entranced. I was so car crazy so early on.

Same here, Harley. I remember standing on the driveshaft hump of my parents' car, holding onto the front seat as we drove around, naming every car on the road before age 3. I was under Susie's spell from the time I could poop!

Oh man, I forgot about the car naming thing. Same here!.....I drove my family nuts, I could identify any car on the road.

I would have been scarred for life. The stuff of nightmares for a car crazy little boy.
