September 3, 200817 yr The answer to the question no one asked, but I'm guessing people with lots of disposable income will bu them, if for nothing more than being a status symbol.
September 3, 200817 yr Meantime, here at GM, we can't even get a fu&%ing hardtop CTS-coupe, ...nevermind the G8 coupe that was canccelled & the Camaro. It's getting REALLY hard to not hate GM again in c.y. 2008.

Yeah, but the A7 4dr ht/convertible is probably going to be $75k And VW/Audi has a substantial development budget, unlike GM which now has about $500/division for new development, it seems.. reality bites.
September 3, 200817 yr Yeah, but the A7 4dr ht/convertible is probably going to be $75k 1. How much is a FIXED roof A8 sedan with thick B-pillars? No less than $75K I know that much... prob. like $85K & $100K for the S8 (?) 2. I never asked for a Camaro with a retractable folding HARDTOP roof, even though the CTS-coupe could justify a retractable hardshell folding roof, but in any case I'm only intesrested in the less complex, less weighed down (pillarless, fixed) hardtop coupe for the modern era. Cadillac: CTS-coupe Buick: Riviera along the lines of a 2dr version of the 2000 LaCrosse concept Pontiac: G8 (DF's sig says it all) Chevrolet: Camaro hardtop. ---- But instead GM keeps investing billions into Saturn & SAAB. And VW/Audi has a substantial development budget, unlike GM which now has about $500/division for new development, it seems.. reality bites. You get what you pay for. Attractive, interesting & exciting product does NOT start with a Opel or Daewoo rebadge.
