GM cannot sell cars if they don't PRODUCE more cars. In KY, the dealerships are almost bare. Try going to a car lot and finding a HHR, Solstice, Malibu SS or Impala SS. In Central KY, you won't find one. One dealer said he plans to order a HHR and told me he will call me when it comes in! One HHR!! In a city of 30,000 people! Don't go car shopping in KY unless you want to find a lot full of Tahoes and Suburbans!

Same problem exists in PA... The dealers have crap. I had to travel around to see the cars I wanted to look at. Some I still haven't seen yet.

thats the way new products are... and i'm glad i'm not seeing any premiums on the HHR's... but, we're selling them about as quick as we get them and we arent a car store... so its a cool mix to our buisness... new traffic... but solstices dont expect those for another year and for the SS's be patient and keep your eyes peeled...

Same problem here. Our local Chevy Dealer has so few vehicles that they have put used Chevrolet's in the new car area just to fill up the lot.

I couldn't even find any Persuits at the local dealer...

Just by casually driving by I noticed the local PBG dealer has a number of G6s and trucks but I haven't seen much else. Their used car inventory looks ready to explode, though.

Yes, if you're in the market for a late-model used domestic and don't get one now, you're just an idiot.

I've been to several local Chevrolet dealerships and have seen a few HHR's and one or two Malibu Maxx SS's, but no Impala SS's, Malibu Sedan SS's or even Aveos.

Maybe that Employee Pricing thingy was a little too good in cleaning up inventories of 2005 models, and there are not enough 2006 models out there yet...

No prob here with Pursuits. Trucks on the other hand are a little hard to come by!

Same here, the local PBG dealer has almost everything I guess...except G6 GTP Sedan and solstice. (they had a solstice but it was gone after a few days) For some reason they have way more Allure CXS models than any others..... Though our chevrolet dealers are HORRIBLY understocked....the local chevy dealer only has the new cobalt, NOTHING else....no hhr's, no impalas, no monte's, no new malibu's...NOTHING! They have an aveo on the stand at the front.... (or atleast they did) Every time i see that place it's no wonder why it;s freaking empty...
