I appreciate the birthday wishes! Would've been nice if I could've celebrated my 35th birthday with some, if not most, of you....

BUT...I had a good day anyway. Took the day off work, slept in, then drove my older 4 MCs for a good portion of the day, taking some roads that I hadn't driven on before.... Came home and went out to eat for my birthday dinner and spent the remainder of the evening with Mom, Dad, my sister, brother-in-law AND my "coming soon" nephew!

I planned to check the message boards Friday (last) night, but zonked out while watching some TV later in the evening...and decided it best to go to bed early and catch up tonight. Unfortunately, I missed meeting up with Bob from the First Gen MC Club (who came to South Elgin to pick up a purchase)...as I overslept Saturday (this) morning...and ended up sleeping most of Saturday...despite the GORGEOUS weather again...arg...not cool. Guess I needed the rest, but dangumit...we aren't going to have many of these "good weather" days left....

And, ocnblu...love that humor .

Sounds like you had a nice birthday Knightfan. Always nice to get the cars out for a run. I use the 2 of mine off and on for daily driving when the weather is nice. Pretty soon though it will be time for their fall oil changes and the little that I do to get them ready for winter. At least they are both home in my garage this year instead of being in storage units. qMy birthday is in December so getting my 2 out then may not be an option. Oh well, I can at least spend time with them. Both could stand a little of that.
