2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Featured Replies

There is a sideview of what's described as the 2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer at popularmechanics.com in their November "Detroit Spy Report."
Insiders will have to comment on its accuracy, but I personally think the drawing is quite appealing, with fresh edges and shapes.

Interesting... but PM is hardly ever right unless by accident.
Looks similar to the GMC Theta spy shot they had. Maybe it's the Envoy.

The spy shot in the link is of a Jeep... wildcat is refering to the sketch of the red SUV lower down on the page.
Yeah, I know he's talking about the red SUV. The rear window on it and the GMC Theta spy shot they had (that according to evok appeared to be in the design center if I remember what he said correctly) a while ago are similar.

 hehe... sorry...

So, this would be the Lambda based Trailblazer that evok hinted at...
Not so sure I like it...but PM always gets the details right and the overall picture WRONG

The red one looks much like these rumored designs which have been around for awhile:

It looked nothing like that and neither did the Envoy.  But it doesn't matter anyway now that they were both cancelled. :AH-HA_wink:

cancelled.....

then what the heck is going on with gmc?
Envoys are everywhere here....

The program to replace both these vehicles is replaced entirely? No refresh for the TB at least? Will the Envoy at least be refreshed, perhaps more mildly, with a better interior and some exterior changes?

It seems a little early for GM to abandon this segment altogether when competitors have introduced newer, dramatically more competitive versions recently. Though Lambdas will eat a lot of sales.
Will Chevy get a reverse badge-engineered Acadia? They can't just drop the Trailblazer...

With the right powertrain this would have sold.

If I werent afraid of a law-suit, the public would know what the redone TB would look like...which would have been a HIT!

Come on Josh. Don't puss out! What is a little law-suit with GM vs sharing photos with people you have never met? :P
That GMC sub-Theta (I'll refer to it as "Gypsy"), looked nice, but GMC doesn't need any other cars for its truck division-keep them at Chevy or if you really must, Buick could use some premium, appealing vehicles. The Envoy still looks nice inside and out, but the TrailBlazer interior needs a re-do and needed one ever since it was introduced for 2002-too much "sea of cheap black plastic" on that dashboard.
