By the way, I think most people photograph better in a candid when they don't know their picture is being taken. I get fairly uptight in front of the camera. I like candids I've found myself in better than staged photos.

Since we are now posting interior pictures here is our downstairs.  We haven't gotten around to decorating upstairs.

I like the black foyer and even the green (black leather and dark wood furniture anchor the foyer) but beige walls leave me cold. Goldenrod would look much better in place of the beige (to draw the rooms closer.) Wine colored carpet would make it complete.

Keep the white cabinets & appliances because they match the wood trim throughout the ground floor.

Then again, it could just be the lighting. Don't worry, I have to be in the room before giving it a complete workover (I can't determine the kitchen countertop color.)

Gee, thank you for sharing (as they typically say in Cali). The visual of what you describe is not at all pretty. Not chiming into the pictures thread...but just acknowledging I passed through YOUR airport (Toronto Pearson) yesterday morning.

Flew into SFO on a commuter flight, then SFO-Toronto on the night flight, putting me into your airport at 6:12 am and onto Montreal via ``the Shuttle.`` I will have to say that Pearson has become quite a mess with all the construction but Terminal One, which used to be decrepit, has turned out nice. Interline transfers in that airport are NOT fun.

Montreal is effin awesome. I love it. May do a photo thread upon return.
