January 6, 200719 yr How about an example for those of us that don't watch soap operas? It isn't a soap. It's an ironic comedy with dramatic elements.
January 6, 200719 yr It isn't a soap. It's an ironic comedy with dramatic elements. So is your mom but I don't watch her every day.
January 6, 200719 yr Anytime someone mentions The O.C. in a conversation with me, I just say, "I'm old enough to remember Beverly Hills 90210 so I dont bother watching the O.C." because it really really really pisses people off. Can someone explain this one to me? I'm not old enough to remember 90210.
January 6, 200719 yr Can someone explain this one to me? I'm not old enough to remember 90210. Basically the same thing, but 90210 had Tiffany-Amber Theissen.
January 6, 200719 yr OK, bob... Name the location. Not as simple as you may think. (the writing on the banners is misleading) edit: Forgot to mention, that's me in the blue in the lower right. Edited January 6, 200719 yr by the_yellow_dart
January 6, 200719 yr OK, bob... Name the location. OK, Citicorp Center is in the background. Very few streets in Manhattan are truncated like that. If you are looking from the north, that's the MOMA. (because you are not in a normal street grid) If you are looking from the south, that's Grand Central Station but it probably isn't because I don't see the Pan Am building. It looks surreal or touched up, BTW.
January 6, 200719 yr You seriously didn't think that was a good one? No I didnt...it made little sense and the whole "your mom" thing is pretty played out...
January 6, 200719 yr No I didnt...it made little sense and the whole "your mom" thing is pretty played out...So is your mom
January 6, 200719 yr It looks surreal or touched up, BTW. Exactly. Only the building directly in front of me is real. The rest is pained on the background. It's Universal Studios.
January 7, 200719 yr Finally some new ones for me. This was taken at a Christmas party a week or so back. My hair is pretty long and I just got it cut too short for my liking. My quasi-Spice Girls pose. Crazy... My real Spice Girls pose. I don't know if I ever posted this one or not... Go ahead and laugh.
January 7, 200719 yr Why laugh? You're a good looking guy Sci.. and I like the long hair. Thanks, man. I didn't mean laugh as in you'd rather look at a dog's ass. I meant laugh at my posing. I like the long hair, too, especially after my hair cut.
January 8, 200719 yr Me(left) and Dad(right)What part of the country is that in....looks very wooded and like winter? By the way, your Seville STS signature is awesome...
January 8, 200719 yr Thanks guys. That's in Northwest Florida. I'm from a town called Chipley. Thanks for the sig compliment too If you click it, it takes you to my cardomain page
January 10, 200719 yr You don't think Ben McKenzie is? Every girl I know drools over that guy...it's disgusting. He's hot.....and has a GREAT body......YUM
January 10, 200719 yr He's hot.....and has a GREAT body......YUMYeah, the body is spankin'... I'll give ya that! :AH-HA_wink:
January 10, 200719 yr Some of you may remember this rather odd wall in my condo from when I posted pictures of the inside. Well - I leaned on it today and it cracked. So, it was hammer time. (No parachute pants required) Man, what a freakin' mess. The worst part is, I just finished cleaning all the floors in this place. Oh well, it will be more open now and probably seem bigger. Next things I have to do (tomorrow) are to clean up the pile of concrete, tear down the mesh and metal supports and figure out how to move that thermostat.
January 13, 200719 yr this thread needs one of my favorite girls: she is a caliente mexican girl and the prototypical example of a perfect woman for me, in everything from inside out [well from what i can know about her insides, i don't know everything about her, oh and she's really not perfect, she's married.]

Damn.....that boy makes me wanna cry......
January 13, 200719 yr In this photo, she looks like a Hispanic Diana Krall. I found out Diana Krall (a Vancouver BC native, and BC women are typically so homely...just like most of the women in Seattle and Portland) is married to this fairly ugly movie star or musician so, turbo, maybe you can "unseat" him, depending on what he "brings to the table." Incidentally, Diana Krall does have an 'effin great voice...it's kind of deep and silky at the same time.Wondering if "caliente Mexican" meant she was "hot" or came from someplace with the word caliente in it...like Aguascalientes.
January 13, 200719 yr Hey now... This isn't the "post pics of sexy people" thread, it's the "post pics of your self" thread. Turbo, I now expect new pics of you.
January 13, 200719 yr Joey Lawrence? Where? And I agree with Viper. We need more pictures of members up in hyerr. Edited January 13, 200719 yr by ocnblu
January 13, 200719 yr Props to turbo for throwing in something for the hets. Now, on to the OC talk. How about an example for those of us that don't watch soap operas? I don't think the The O.C. is a soap.....especially not in the Days Of Our Lives sense anyway...Anytime someone mentions The O.C. in a conversation with me, I just say, "I'm old enough to remember Beverly Hills 90210 so I dont bother watching the O.C." because it really really really pisses people off.I think the two shows are quite different. There's quite a bit of action with the elders as well as the youngstas. It's ballenced about 45/55 in that respect. In 90210, it was totally aboutthe 8 teen/twentysomethings, and the two Walsh parents were acessories. It isn't a soap. It's an ironic comedy with dramatic elements. That's the appeal to me....plus I love shows about SoCal. 90210 didn't have the former at all. Edited January 13, 200719 yr by LosAngeles
January 14, 200719 yr Speaking of hets, we haven't seen a pic of your smiling face in here lately, L.A. :AH-HA_wink:
January 14, 200719 yr Here's my 'big' truck, the '40 COE. Had to add another panel to the garage door to get her inside.
January 14, 200719 yr Speaking of hets, we haven't seen a pic of your smiling face in here lately, L.A. :AH-HA_wink:Well, like that show Rich Little used to host.... You Asked For It.
January 14, 200719 yr Josephine, if that's an actual picture of your wallet, I think you'd give it up to just about everyone in here. :AH-HA_wink:
January 15, 200719 yr Having to look at toyotas and nissan everyday (and mazdas once a month or two) will do that to a patriot. Seriously, as Ringo Starr once said "It's just me face". I was smiling for the most part there....

January 16, 200719 yr Ahh Yellowstone...one of the best places ever. Did you go to my mountain? Mt. Doane (eastern Yellowstone, due east of Yellowstone Lake)Named in 1871 by the United States Geological Survey. Named for Lieutenant Gustavus C. Doane, Second Calvary, U.S. Army, commander of the military escort to the Washburn Expedition of 1870. Originally, along with Mt. Langford, the name Mt. Doane applied to a mountain further to the south of where it is now. Hayden moved the name the following year.(Haines also used as a source.) (a link to a short biography of Doane will be made available as ready). http://www.yellowstone-online.com/history/yhtwo3.html Edited January 16, 200719 yr by CD/BP
January 16, 200719 yr You're pretty tall for a 13 year old, Charger. All of my brother's friends are midgets...I swear, only 2 of them are taller than 5'5"
January 16, 200719 yr I have a bunch of old ones that are on my myspace from a couple months back that I never posted...I don't think I will either. I was drunk in a lot of them and I don't look too good (neither does my hair...I guess that's what I get from growing it out )... http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?...riendID=4103768 I like this one though Edited January 16, 200719 yr by Nick
January 16, 200719 yr Ahh Yellowstone...one of the best places ever. Did you go to my mountain? http://www.yellowstone-online.com/history/yhtwo3.html OK, If we're going into place names, I got a few for you. Madill, Oklahoma. Madill's my last name. Beamsville, Ontario Beam is my mother's maiden name, the town is named after some of my ancestors. Both sides of my family have done tons of genealogy work, which is how I know I'm Polish, Ukranian, Irish, French, Swiss, Scottish, German and Native. Those are roughly in order, I'm mostly Polish and Ukranian and very little Native. All this genealogy has also found some interesting things. Beam comes from "Boheme", another way of saying Gypsy, which is part of the reason for all the countries. Also, my great (x5) grandfather Jacob Beam founded the Beam breweries, and was the great grandfather of Jim Beam. Yeah, that Jim Beam.
