Insane. Absolutely insane.

Tonight, Safeway at $ 2.33 before Safeway Club card discount.

In 6 months, the price of a COMMODITY has been sliced in HALF. So, it was either too high before or too low right now.

A couple of road trips to Tahoe are in the plans...stat...

just cracked $2 here. yay. lol

2.17 on my way home. Probably cheaper 10 minutes west of me.

Haha, last evening I paid $2.29... tonight on the way home... $2.21 at the same station.

87 : $2.16, diesel : $2.85

I seem to recall the post somewhere on these boards.... "We'll NEVER see $70/barrel again, you can bank on it'.

Oil closed at $61.xx today.

Filled up at a generic gas station for $2.17 today.

Traveled south to Maryland to buy a bottle of Yellowtail Merlot yesterday (due to PA's screwy liquor laws), and gas was going for $1.96 at Wawa and Hess Express.

Gas was $2.25 this morning as I hit 10k in the Jetter (68.4k starting, now at 78.4k). Never thought $10 in gas would ever get me nearly 5 gallons and nearly 150 miles of traveling. Those miles seem to rack up rather quickly when gas isn't so damn expensive anymore. I've probably put 3k on the Jetter this past month alone.

The Benzo got a nice long sip of regular last night to the

tune of $2.299/g, that's def. a huge improvement over

the $4.599/g I was being charged to fill up the Banana in

the middle of the summer, but I'd be even happier if we

got to $1.8xx/g like many of you.

It really might be time for that old school Pontiac hardtop

I keep dreaming of... perhaps some late '60s Catalina or

Grand Prix... powered by a healthy Pontiac iron block 400.

$2.75/gal for premium this morning for the 300CE.

$2.15 in my area.

Dartmouth apparently is below $2 not far from the college.

1.97... It is pushing me towards a Firebird over a Bonneville. Which is a good thing trust me. At least now when it is resonable.

Saw $2.26 for unleaded, $2.79 for diesel this morning. Listening to the radio, I heard AAA AZ say it could be below $2 before the end of the year.

Rt.114 Middleton, Mass.

A+Prime gas:

$1.99/gal.

I do believe that gas has not dipped below $2 'round

these parts since prior to Katrina. I drove past this

station after I almost filled the tank in the Mercedes

for $30.00 at Sunoco no less!

oh, right... Sunoco, Rt.114 Danvers, MA. $2.09 (last night)

Gassed up the Burb last night at $2.21

Saw $2.19 today...supposedly there are a couple stations elsewhere in the Valley where it's under $2, but not here in the central city.

FINALLY saw $1.99 in these parts..........but, that was only one gas station ... for now ;).

Gassed up the Burb at $1.95 tonight on the way home from work and then saw $1.89 a few miles down the road.

Saw $1.99 for the first time tonight here in Phoenix..woo hoo...will have to gas up the Mercs this weekend.

$1.96

$1.58!?

Holy cow! Yey depression! :P:firebird: :sign0200:

The way its been falling, it'll be $1.49 by Monday, maybe by Christmas I'll see $1.00/gallon. If that happens, I'm going to get a massive tank, fill it up and hold on to it until gas hits $3 again, then I'll sell my stuff for $2.

I thought you already had a massive tank.

Isn't this all too predictable. Definitely by next summer's vacation season.

$1.92

$1.45 about an hour and a half west of me.

I actually dont know what the state gas tax is off the top of my head. I know that there is a state law requiring all gas be 10% ethanol, which could be helping keep the price down.

According to gasbuddy, gas was $3.07 a year ago.
