Oh shoot me now...

Cause no other president has ever had an armored Caddy. Faux Noise should just own up up to what they are.

WTHell are you guys bitching about?

They mentioned that this is the new "Cadillac One"

and it will be Obamas and somehow it's another

example of Fox having a Republican-slant?

I'm surprised they are still doing the limo w/ DTS cues, instead of an Escalade...:) Though I think Bush should have had a HUMMER limo since he was the self-proclaimed 'war president'.. :)

Mmm...good idea, yes.

Could this be the next DTS? Or is it just a STS grille with Escalade lights and handles and an STS rear end? I am trying to figure this thing out, and obviously it is on the HD truck platform with rear leaf springs.

It has nothing to do with anything in the future Caddy lineup. Just a mis-mash of body parts that fit.

How very old-school GM. The presidential limo needs to be replaced by something zero-emission. Thats right, I'm talking about a horse drawn carriage. All the armor will make the carriage heavy, so a team of 40 horses will be necessary. Or maybe some oxen, a la Oregon Trail. The president can also take 5 sets of clothing, 1000 pounds of non-perishable food and a spare axle!

What in the world makes you think that 40 horses or oxen are "zero emission"?

Ok, slightly more carbon neutral than an 8,000 pound TopKick with a Cadillac body.

I'd kill for that...

I thought Clinton was the one with the hummer...

Honestly did you take those photos?

Uhm...it is what I do for a living. What made you think I didn't?

Those pics are one of the coolest examples of your work, Mr Doane.

I was blown away when you posted them, all I could think was " Damn! He is good."

I'll remember you when you take up residence at Guantanamo. :AH-HA_wink:

Thanks. :D

Haha I figured I'd already be in Gitmo by now.

I am just suprised as spy photographer whom auto lovers (like me) worship and that you post around here. Fox News obviously thought it was important and used your photos. Gosh that would be a sweet job.

Remember when Cadillac tried to use the old Cadillac One as a "preview" for the new DTS? Great idea, it looked terrible and nothing like the real thing.

Doane, you're such a pill. Nice preview, can't wait to see the real thing.

Agreed, I want to see the real thing.
