November 4, 200520 yr Cool stuff, seen this site before but it never gets old. :) Coolest Art Car ever... the "Carthedral"
November 9, 200520 yr Former hearse owner here. Love 'em. First one was a 73 S&S "Queen Victoria" 501ci (472 boarde and stroked from factory) rough body though. Last one was a 79' S&S with a champaigne paint job and 3 sided scons style limo side lights. It had a 425ci with 750cfm carb, factory possi, 400 turbo. I limo tinted the back windows and bolted the baby seats to the floor right behind the seperation glass....came in handy for the long rides and cranky kids....just slide the glass shut and turn up the cd player!!!!!!!!!!!!!hee hee
November 9, 200520 yr Wow, Jay-more has lived the life! I'm jelaous. I want to find a survivor '59 Buick Flxible hearse. 49 were made only one survives officially. There HAS to be at least one sitting in a barn somewhere! :( If I find one I'll give the owner a filet knife and a glass jar and let him grab my right kidney so that I can drive/tow/push her away!
November 9, 200520 yr A buddy of mine used to have a late 60s Caddillac Hearse with a 454 transplanted into it. We did some massive burnouts in that thing and was a hoot to drive around in and see the looks it got us. It was also the best Halloween spooky prop ever during that time of the year.
