November 19, 200817 yr I have to wonder if the honeycomb aspect was in truth decided upon merely to obtain patent rights, as the heavy equipment field has had numerous airless tires for many years now. I've driven on them (at HE speeds), and those too, offered pneumatic "ride feel"...
