I neeeeeeed that Vista Cruiser.

I like the '64 Olds, but since you didn't list a year in the title, I was hoping it was based off the '70-'72 model years. I'll still hunt it down regardless though!!

I dunno what the hell the problem is in my area but like 90% of the stores that used to carry Johnny Lightning cars don't anymore; there's two Toys 'R' Us's in the area that do, but other than that, all of my sources have dried up. I can't remember the last time I saw any JL cars or even higher-end stuff from the other big toy car companies (the Hot Wheels display sets, Matchbox SuperKings and Superfast America, etc.)

That Olds wagon is sweet, but unfortunately that'll probably end up being an eBay item for me

What about the Suck Mart? Last I saw they carried them.

These just popped up at the local TRU after quite a drought on new JL. I also have a hobby store that carries them, and they too havent gotten anything too new in a while.

Muscle Machines is the only one I know that made a 1:64 70' Vista. Of course, JL also make the Chevy wagon too now.

I feel you XP. All of the Toys R Us stores I've visited around southern NJ (and some in PA) seem to have given up on the JL offerings. My local TRU even moved them off the main aisle rack and put them on a small end-cap display. Target and Wal-Marts have seemed to shun JLs this holiday season. I had to go to the local Tractor Supply Company to find the '50 Chevy Pickup in the John Deere collection recently. I think with the economy, toy retailers are not catering to the "collector"; my one local Wal-Mart still has no Matchbox cars on the pegs since late September (the price labels there, just no cars). I even noticed Target doesn't have a great selection of Matchbox cars, though Hot Wheels at both stores are plentiful. I hope that major car shows (like Carlisle) and eBay won't be my only chance at getting the diecast I want.

Virtually the same situation here, XP. Everytime Olds Guy posts a model, I try to find it around here ... and most of the time, nada.

*sighs*

Then again, that's probably a good thing, since I usually want everything he posts! I still haven't found that MCSS Aerocoupe yet either :(.
