November 24, 2008 Word has it that when the Big 3 CEOs return to Washington to plead their case for a $25B loan, they will do so not via private jet, or by commercial jet, or bus, or taxi, or bicycle, or hitchhiking. They'll arrive via a caravan of Detroit's best, brightest, and most fuel efficient vehicles. There will be many stops along the way to generate support and interest in the Big 3 and its products, which sadly seems to be nearly nonexistent these days. This sounds like a great idea, especially since it was mentioned here last week. Just goes to show that, even in troubled times such as these, the folks at GM still check out places like C&G for some fresh ideas. Hey, we're more than glad to do our part, and we hope GM knows that, through thick and thin, we'll always be in their corner. Big 3 to Bring Caravan of Vehicles to DC Hey Rick, Get in the Car!
