November 5, 200520 yr IRVINE, Calif., November 1, 2005 – Kia Motors America (KMA) remains on pace to set another annual sales record in 2005, despite October unit sales that were below the same month in 2004. Year-to-date sales of 236,993 are up 4.6-percent, while October sales totaled 20,631 versus 22,973 units sold during the same period in 2004. Kia’s next generation products continue to perform well, including the all-new Sportage compact SUV and the Amanti premium sedan, which recently were awarded Kia’s first J.D. Power and Associates APEAL Awards.
