November 29, 200817 yr I'm thinking its because I've been listening to an insane amount of Bjork lately, but I'd like to visit Iceland. And would even consider moving there, if I felt the need to leave the country. I realize its pretty much the last place on earth anybody would ever go, but has anyone ever been? And on a completely different subject, why cant I find a cruise that boards in New York or Miami, then goes around the friggen world? Circumnavigating the globe on a cruise ship would be sweet. Time consuming, but sweet.

November 29, 200817 yr Iceland all i remember is that it looked like Canada. I remember landing then being in a van and that's about it.
November 29, 200817 yr No, Greenland is the last place on earth, or maybe Antarctica. I'd love to go to Iceland.
November 29, 200817 yr I'd go anywhere (SAFE) at least once. The only time I set foot in Scandinavia was on a SEA-CPH-FCO flight, with the nonstop to Copenhagen (CPH) being the first leg. It was August 1997 and it was raining upon arrival....why even leave Seattle? The plane then lands in Rome (FCO)....cell phones, loud Guidos yelling into them, cigarettes, sun, palm trees....ok, I'm home. As for cruises, I would love to go on a Western Mediterranean cruise for about 2 weeks.
November 29, 200817 yr Its cold up there, thats why Iceland has the most authors per capita. The cold sucks, i hate it.

December 1, 200817 yr Dude! Now I just need $80,000 for a suite. And my plan to move to Iceland was shot down, although a vacation there wasn't ruled out. Well I never said it would be cheap. But its a 108 day cruise that visits a lot of ports.
December 1, 200817 yr I wouldn't live there, their economy just totally collapsed, and I mean REALLY collapsed.
December 1, 200817 yr well, when the sky falls and global warming melts the icecaps, it won't be iceland anymore.
