December 3, 200817 yr I just don't see the Nissan attraction, lots of other people here do. Nissan IMHO just needs to go away. I feel about it what a lot of other people feel about Toyota. CTS is a MUCH better car, FWIW. Chris
December 4, 200817 yr I just don't see the Nissan attraction, lots of other people here do. Nissan IMHO just needs to go away. I feel about it what a lot of other people feel about Toyota. CTS is a MUCH better car, FWIW. Chris Of the Japanese Big 3, Nissan has by far the most enjoyable cars (of those I've driven). Do we compare the CTS to the G or the M? It's a muddled line by all parties.

CTS is a MUCH better car, FWIW. Chris Thank you for sharing my emotions. However, I will give it to the new 370z which is a little bit better, but everything else is plain vanilla.
December 4, 200817 yr The 370Z makes me think that there is life in Nissan yet. NOTE-I am expressing personal opinion of a dislike for Nissan cars. Painfully, I will admit they do seem to build a really solid car. I've ridden in 250k-300k mile cars that seemeed MUCH better bolted together than a Toyota or Honda of the same milage. They just don't build anything that I think is class leading or appeals to me on an emotional level. Chris
December 4, 200817 yr I agree with you that their cars are solid, but as much credit people give to Nissan for having the fun factor, I don't agree with them. Yes they are a notch above Toyota (every car manufacturer is), but certainly not fun drive vehicles. Take for example the V-6 Altima coupe, despite having power almost on par with the Accord V-6 coupe and being about 300 pounds lighter, it was outgunned or matched by the Accord in Edmunds Comparo.. This sentence sums it all, The 2008 Honda Accord Coupe not only outperforms the Nissan Altima coupe, but also easily surpasses the performance of previous Accord sedans and coupes.

December 5, 200817 yr Mitsu ahead of Honda...hahahahaha...man I need some of whtever you're smoking. Even when the Galant was brand-new (2004) it wasn't better than the previous gen ('98-02) Accord, which is probably why the Galant didn't, and still doesn't, sell at all.
