December 6, 200817 yr Very nice.... If winter has a saving grace, it would be the gorgeous sunsets that we're treated to.
December 7, 200817 yr Looks coldly beautiful. One thing I do like about the desert here, the sunsets are spectacular (no doubt partly due to the all the smog in the valley).
December 7, 200817 yr Author I'm a bit spoiled, I guess. I have a spectacular view of sunset every day.
December 10, 200817 yr If winter has a saving grace, it would be the gorgeous sunsets that we're treated to. AMEN! I spotted some gorgeous ones last winter when I went for drives in the '87 MC LS/CL. Wish I had taken my camera with. Camino ... absolutely gorgeous. Glad you shared that with us! December 10, 200817 yr I like the "motion" in the sky and the colors of the "layers" of the sky. What is that object on the grass in the foreground? Edited December 10, 200817 yr by trinacriabob
December 10, 200817 yr Along with classic cars, tractor trailers, architecture & aviation-related stuff, I take a ton of sunset photos myself... this is prob. my best one in the past year, if not ever... although "SpeedingPenguin" technically took it. http://sixty8panther.deviantart.com/art/Rt-128-92632402 (my DeviantArt link) Edited December 10, 200817 yr by Sixty8panther
December 12, 200817 yr Author I like the "motion" in the sky and the colors of the "layers" of the sky. What is that object on the grass in the foreground? I am guessing that you mean the white object? If so, that's my dog, Arkus. There is also A fence, a horse wearing a blue horse blanket, a mansion, and a driveway - all barely visible in the pic.
