November 6, 200520 yr What the hell? Where is everybody? It's so freakin' boring here... :D Anyways, to cure my boredom, here is what I think is the best Saturn eveeeer.... The 95-96 SC2! :P
November 6, 200520 yr No love for me, sorry, bv. It is quiet around here, though. Maybe we can meet and spice things up? LOL...j/k.
November 6, 200520 yr Author If you start lovin' it, sure... we can meet up and spice things up.. :AH-HA_wink: :rotflmao: Edited November 6, 200520 yr by blackviper8891
November 6, 200520 yr ok...we need more chicks on these boards...it's turning into way too much of a sausage fest....
November 6, 200520 yr Author  We do, though... but I think I'd just have anybody come around to my place... *sigh* I'm lonely and you-know-what... Anyways, let's focus on the only Saturn I'd make an effort to buy, people. :D
November 6, 200520 yr Author There are many RWD cars I like... but hey, someone has to give FWD cars some lovin'... and I don't see anyone else making an effort at it. Frankly, there're not all crap like most of you RWD-praisers believe 'em to be. They deserve a little respect. I'm the only bastard here willing to show it... :D
November 6, 200520 yr I'm a fan of the S-series coupes with pop-ups, and I like the later ones, as Vipes posted. Those were the days of real Saturns, before they were watered down and absorbed into the giant. And I'm hungry right now. Sausage would hit the spot quite nicely, with french toast and juice.
November 7, 200520 yr The Saturn coupe was actually a car that I considered buying back in 1990. Got an Integra instead. Styling-wise, the SC was a homerun. The refresh a couple of years later didn't really improve the styling. None of the coupes with exposed headlights look good, and the '97-on coupes didn't look good either.
November 7, 200520 yr Little piece of trivia for you Vipes. A friend of mine had one of these that was all smashed up, and I noticed something very strange. The turnsignal does not stop where the front quarter panel does. It actually continues under the panel. You will see what I mean if you look at one closely. It is easiest to see if you open the hood. Why would they put in big turn signals if they were just going to cover half of them up? Pic below shows actual turn signal extents.
November 8, 200520 yr The 1st-gen SC2 was definitely the bestest Saturn until the SKY. Though I must admit that I much prefer the original dash of the 91-94 before they made it all rounded and cheaper looking. Oh, and did someone say SAUSAGE? :AH-HA_wink:
