December 11, 200817 yr So this is probably not newsworthy at all if you live up North, but it most certainly is if you're in Houston, Texas. I'm wholeheartedly enjoying a nice, steady snow shower right now. Let's just say that this is very, very rare here. Edited December 11, 200817 yr by gmcbob

Maybe a little north...like at The Woodlands or Lake Conroe, but certainly not down by Kemah or in any area near the Ship Channel, am I right?
December 11, 200817 yr Its GlObAl WaRmInG!!! oh NO'z the snow and the heat are swapping places! polar bears in florida and gila monsters in wisconsin! hehe
December 11, 200817 yr Well, today here in Las Vegas it is a beautiful, wind-less, sunny 65-degree day. However, I guess there is a storm or something coming in....because on like Monday or Tuesday, the low at night is supposed to be in the upper-30's.....and it's supposed to rain.....and that in the foothills, we might even see snow (Where I live in Summerlin, up close to the Red Rock mountains, we sit significantly higher than downtown LV and The Strip.....high 30's on The Strip means it might be cold enough by me to snow.) Would be kinda neat to see.....however, it most likely will do it at night (when I'm asleep) and I seriously doubt it will stick on the ground.
December 11, 200817 yr Nice sunny day here in Phoenix..high around 70, down in the mid 40s last night...
December 12, 200817 yr My wife has family in Houston, and they were up over thanksgiving recalling when the last time it snowed. Looks like they got some.
