I know I'm insane

That interior is very worn, almost looks lie water damage in some areas. I'd inspect it before hand if possible. But it is a nice Cutty if you can look past the grime and rust.

It needs to go to someone who appreciates it. In 1977, sporty A-bodies were very few. It should be saved.

...and if I had the spare change, it would be.

Man, she's rough. For a collector with them money to restore it's a hell of a find. To find a true 442 is sweetness, but it's gonna take big bucks for this old girl.

I hope it goes to someone who appreciates what they have, keeping this car on the road is much like keeping a Packard or anyo ther bygone car on the road. Its preserving a piece of Americana that will never come back.

I found this near me and want it really bad! Considering the shape it's in, I think $3000 is a fair price. The only thing is I don't think I would be able to give it the home it deserves since it would be parked outside and would be subjected to Iowa winters. Sigh...

That's a beautiful car. My last one was a Brougham, but silver with a grey top and grey interior, it had about 110k miles on it. It's a good deal. I paid $2500 for the Salon, but that was just dumb luck. I wonder what the undercarriage looks like?

At the VW club meeting today one of our members, Mark has decided to put his Cutlass up for sale. It's a 1972, his brother bought it from the original owner in 1980, he bought it from his brother in 88 and has owned it the last 20 years.

Mark is buying a new Harley Davidson and wants to get rid of the Cutlass. It's pretty much a garage queen, it needs a headliner and carpet but it's really solid.

It's a bucket seat car too.

If I had the 5 grand he wants, I'd buy it.

I'd love another Cutlass in the garage.

66Stang: is it a fastback or hardtop? I'd break the bank right now for a fastback to go along with my '72.
