January 3, 200917 yr That interior is very worn, almost looks lie water damage in some areas. I'd inspect it before hand if possible. But it is a nice Cutty if you can look past the grime and rust.
January 3, 200917 yr It needs to go to someone who appreciates it. In 1977, sporty A-bodies were very few. It should be saved.

January 3, 200917 yr not a year or so ago there was a 73 or 74 olds 442 that was a dark red with white sitting in a fenced in lot that was at a "Donk-a-rizing" garage... i hate to know what fate befelled that car. btw here is a registry i found. http://v8cars.hu/73-77cutlassregistry/vehi...e=4664fd557339a Edited January 3, 200917 yr by cletus8269
January 3, 200917 yr Man, she's rough. For a collector with them money to restore it's a hell of a find. To find a true 442 is sweetness, but it's gonna take big bucks for this old girl.
January 3, 200917 yr I found this near me and want it really bad! Considering the shape it's in, I think $3000 is a fair price. The only thing is I don't think I would be able to give it the home it deserves since it would be parked outside and would be subjected to Iowa winters. Sigh... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-Trucks...8#ht_500wt_1373
January 3, 200917 yr crapola! a buddy of mine in HS had one of these 442's! i love these styles. its a pittance. fk the cost! do it!
January 3, 200917 yr I hope it goes to someone who appreciates what they have, keeping this car on the road is much like keeping a Packard or anyo ther bygone car on the road. Its preserving a piece of Americana that will never come back.

It's a good deal. I paid $2500 for the Salon, but that was just dumb luck. I wonder what the undercarriage looks like?

January 3, 200917 yr At the VW club meeting today one of our members, Mark has decided to put his Cutlass up for sale. It's a 1972, his brother bought it from the original owner in 1980, he bought it from his brother in 88 and has owned it the last 20 years. Mark is buying a new Harley Davidson and wants to get rid of the Cutlass. It's pretty much a garage queen, it needs a headliner and carpet but it's really solid. It's a bucket seat car too. If I had the 5 grand he wants, I'd buy it. I'd love another Cutlass in the garage. Chris
January 4, 200917 yr 66Stang: is it a fastback or hardtop? I'd break the bank right now for a fastback to go along with my '72.
