Thanks to the Evo. If not for it and the little bit of good will it brought to the Lancer name plate, I think Mitsu would be out of the U.S. market. I can't really comment on the Galant as I've never driven one or been in one but my guess is fleet sales are up? I may have to check one out at the NAIAS just to satisfy my curiosity.

Didn't Mitsubishi back out of NAIAS? I don't think they'll be there for you to check out...

Notice they went from 'approximately' 480 dealers in their Nov'08 release to now saying 'more than' 440 dealers in their Dec'08 release. Apparently Mitsubishi dealers are starting to drop like flies.

I'm not even sure my local Mitsu dealer still stocks Mitsubishis. They moved Suzuki up the block to its own building, the front lot is overrun by Volkswagens and Porsches. I dont recall the last time I saw any Mitsu parked anywhere near the front. Usually one entrance has the latest VW, the other entrance has a low-end Porsche and in between they have their priciest used cars.

You're right. I forgot about that. I'm not interested enough to track down a Mitsubishi dealer and go check one out. Oh well.
