January 6, 200917 yr Author Scion seems to be going in the toilet sales wise as well... Chris Yep... So much for the need of a "150,000 annual production cap" to keep the brand as a niche player.
January 6, 200917 yr I predict that within 5 years Scion is gone. They are like a band that is a "one hit wonder" Sadly, I also see Saturn and Chrysler gone in the next 5 years as well. Chris
January 7, 200917 yr The sales volume of the Crapola never ceases to amaze me! How the hell do they manage to sell 350k of those things per year? I would rather buy almost any other car in it's class than buy a Crapola. I guess people love their soul-less, style-less appliances. Edited January 7, 200917 yr by 2QuickZ's
January 7, 200917 yr I loose faith in the human race every day. People are essentially sheep, and Toyota is well vesed in the lamb chop biz. Chris
January 7, 200917 yr informative. i thought everyone wanted a prius? There's no need now that gas is cheap. The only hybrids that could sell in this market are super-cheap hybrids. Gas will go back up but most people can barely see past one foot over the other, let alone a year from now. The new Insight has the potential to take the sales lead over the Prius, unless the new Prius does something. Yep... So much for the need of a "150,000 annual production cap" to keep the brand as a niche player. Lol, I do remember that news item. Shouldn't be hard now.
