Really nice. The whole truck feels more solid and alot better quality.

Around here one doesn't see much of the extended cab anymore. Seems the quad cab has taken over.

I still like the extended cab better in the looks department.

Yea I believe its chrome and believe it or not it came from the factory along with the tubluar steps and the dealer installed them. I really like the look of the Extended Cab too. I just like to have the little more bed space too. If I bought anything new it was gonna be from GM. I really liked this truck and I was glad to help them by buying it. I did get a great deal on her too which is always nice. GM has also stepped up the quality of this truck too compared to my 05 in my opinion. I wish people would just realize how nice their vehicles really are.

And like you and 2005 Equinox LS, I am patiently waiting until I can help GM out this year too. My GMAC SmartLease doesn't 'officially' end until November, but I'm hoping that GMAC will allow me out without making payments starting around May (I can see a new vehicle in June or July). That's also assuming there is a GM alive and well come late spring/summer

They let me out of the Equinox 3 months early.

Well since they are supposedly hurting for car sales so bad the just might let you out of it early.
