Cadillac to unveil E-Flex concept coupe at NAIAS?

Cadillac to unveil E-Flex concept coupe at NAIAS?

This is from Autoblog. Two thoughts crossed my mind: Cadillac is serious about having its own E-Flex and/or this smaller-than-CTS hints at how an alpha Cadillac might look like... Could E-Flex be adapted to a RWD setup?

I am more inclined to think the later will be before the former, since the schedule for alpha was for 2011, unless the timeline now has changed. In any case it is a good news.

Yes based on the talk with one of the E-FLEX powertrain gurus of GM, he said it could be adapted to any drive set up.

Hmm... interesting :scratchchin:

I could see that applied to both Alpha and NG Sigma vehicles...

From what Lutz said this is FWD and we may very well see somthing similar to this on the Voltech plaform.

Sorry this is no Alpha.

Ther Converj may very well be 90% of what we get in the show room and it would sell to many who would never buy the golf cart looking Electrics on the market. THis is the kind of electric Lutz wants. A car that would sell on look regardless of drivetrain.
