January 11, 200917 yr IROC ZED? Do they say "zed" in Canada? Also the "Way to go, Chevy!" slogan always cracks me up. Edited January 11, 200917 yr by §carlet §wordfish
January 11, 200917 yr Definitely a lot of cheese in that commercial, but I've always liked how car commercials from that era were so energetic...unlike the blah garbage we usually get today (with a few exceptions).
January 13, 200917 yr Author Do they say "zed" in Canada? Yes. It's one of those few differences, along with the 'u' in certain words like 'colour'. ...but when you sing the alphabet song as a kid you have to say 'zee' or it just doesn't sound right. Also, 'E-Z' on American packaging confused me as a kid. I remember sitting there thinking, 'what the hell is ee-zed?'
January 14, 200917 yr He he ... a bit cheesy, perhaps. But, still cool to see some older commercials.... Taylor Swift ... 'Should've Said No'
January 14, 200917 yr I love the car and yes it is an 80's commercial but like the 80's Pontiac ads with We Build Excitement they actual got you excited to get the product and drive it.
