January 17, 200917 yr 1973 Starlight Black Pontiac GTO 400 CID The owner whom orginally got the car lives in my town of Dubuque got this car new at a Pontiac dealer in my town. (Whom I never go to.) Still it is a neat piece and is in great shape with PHS and only 82K on the clock. The buy-it-now of $12,500 seems pretty fair. So what do all you think? If I had the money and an agreeable wife I would get it. Even though it isn't my favorite year of GTO still it is pretty sweet. I love the color combo and if it was a floor shift and 455 it would be even better. Not that a 400 is a pooch and it has a bench seat... Don't give me any ideas... January 17, 200917 yr I like 'em, but then I've developed a serious soft spot for the colonnade cars.
January 17, 200917 yr That's a very nice looking car, the last year for the A-body GTO. I'd love to own it.
January 18, 200917 yr Well if it's gotta be a '73, you are extremely hard pressed to better a Starlight Black car, built in the home plant, with the handling package, Rallye IIs, the NACA hood & a STT rear. A beauty.
January 18, 200917 yr Author pretty tight, but i'd use the money for a canam instead Yup, if it was a Can Am my wife and I would be talking about it now.
January 18, 200917 yr My buddy owns one, he's owned it for a lonnnnnggggg time, and he just restored it. It's a fanatical restoration too....
January 19, 200917 yr I like the exterior, not a fan of the red interior, but I do have the cash on hand, and I do so love the A bodies.
