January 31, 200917 yr Its one car, not a bunch.....seen this one in the States though, I kind of like it-not totally sure how that compares with TSX, though it is smaller...
January 31, 200917 yr http://www.canadiandriver.com/buyers-guide...9/acura/csx.php Canadian Only Model... Like the G5 Sedan I suppose.
January 31, 200917 yr http://www.canadiandriver.com/buyers-guide...9/acura/csx.php Deja vu? Seriously didn't we already all go over this before?
January 31, 200917 yr Its one car, not a bunch.....seen this one in the States though, I kind of like it-not totally sure how that compares with TSX, though it is smaller... CSX=Civic TSX=Euro Accord TL=current gen RL=USDM Accord Civic and Accord share absolutely no suspenision or body components.
January 31, 200917 yr Canadiandriver doesn't have pictures of the actual update. But I do...stay tuned.
January 31, 200917 yr CSX=Civic TSX=Euro Accord TL=current gen RL=USDM Accord Civic and Accord share absolutely no suspenision or body components. Just two things: TL = USDM Accord = JDM Inspire RL = JDM Legend
January 31, 200917 yr Canadian Only Model... Like the G5 Sedan I suppose. ... or the Wave ... or the Firefly ... or the Tempest ... or the Acura EL It seems that they think Canadians don't mind rebadges as much.
January 31, 200917 yr Its nice for a dressed up Civic.... http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?showtopic=27988
January 31, 200917 yr Just two things: TL = USDM Accord = JDM Inspire RL = JDM Legend The latest TL and subsequently the Accord have more in common with the soon-to-be outgoing RL to dismiss its roots. While I agree JDM Legend=RL is so too follows TL and USDM Accord.
January 31, 200917 yr Is there anything Honda can't do? First they make cars, then an airplane, now locomotives?
January 31, 200917 yr I've seen the CSX before, and it is terrible. The TSX is ok, since they don't sell the Euro Accord in this country. And they adapted the Euro-Accord to fit in with Acura's US lineup. I see that as like the Sky and Opel GT, the car works in both continents. CSX should tie though, that is why Acura is a low level luxury brand and will never compete with the big boys.

While I agree JDM Legend=RL is so too follows TL and USDM Accord. The new TL and current US Accord (and RL) have nothing in common visually. Platform sharing, not badge engineering. Not unlike GM and all their Epsilons. Honda/Acura's platform sharing and rebadging strategies are pretty much the same as GMs. Edited January 31, 200917 yr by moltar
January 31, 200917 yr Author Deja vu? Seriously didn't we already all go over this before? no that was for the acura "EL" i thought acura was done with this madness

February 1, 200917 yr ... or the Wave ... or the Firefly ... or the Tempest ... or the Acura EL It seems that they think Canadians don't mind rebadges as much. The Acura EL is the same thing as the CSX. It's similar to how they changed names on the Integra to RSX. New generation, new name, perhaps because it fits the naming strategy better. no that was for the acura "EL" i thought acura was done with this madness No, the Acura EL was Canada's rebadge of the last generation Civic. For the 8th generation Civic, Canada changed the name from EL to CSX. And yes, you have posted about the 8th Generation (CSX) before, which is why this is repetitive. They just gave the CSX the Power Plenum, which is why it's popping up in Canadian news again. Just two things: TL = USDM Accord = JDM Inspire RL = JDM Legend The RL is a rebadge of the Legend available elsewhere, similar to how the TSX is a rebadge of the European Accord. However, the TL, RDX, and MDX are stand alone models designed in the US for the US. The TL shares a base platform with the Accord, that is all. Similar to how the Malibu shares a platform with the Aura. Except in the TL and Accord's case, they do not have the same engine options, meaning they share even less than the Epsilon platform cars do.
February 1, 200917 yr Author to me it would befit an acura to have a better dashboard, one not so juvenile. if acura still used real car names and still had the vigor, they could make a hybrid version of that and call it the hybrid vigor. and then people would confuse it with crop seed. February 1, 200917 yr I guess I'm just missing the point here..... Still looks better than most of the compacts out there....
