Buick's other sedan..in addition to the Lacrosse

Featured Replies

GM will kill the Lucerne in 2008. What will be the other GM sedan? Buick needs more than just the Lacrosse? How about this Regal sold in CHina?http://allworldcars.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/2010_buick_regal.jpg

Psst...

It's 2009 and they still sell the Lucerne. :P

Who said the Lucerne is gone for 2010?

They're switching Hamtramck to Delta II (Volt and Orlando) in 2010, so I assume that would be the end of the world for the Lucerne and the G-DTS.

At 197 inches long, the 2010 LaCrosse is big enough to serve as Buick's flagship sedan. Now that the brand has the Enclave and 2010 LaCrosse as its new flagships (although the "LaCrosse" name is inappropriate for the brand's flagship sedan), it needs to start focusing on expanding downward into smaller vehicles to complete its lineup.

Wasn't there some talk a while back about the Chinese Regal coming here (i.e. the Insignia variation) as the smaller Buick sedan?

Over all it is a nice sedan, be interesting to see what the public really thinks.

In regards to Buicks lineup. I thought they were going to only have a few cars as would Pontiac as these would round out the truck / suv landscape of GMC, why they want the GMCBP dealership.

But I could be mistaken. I think with the current economy and hardships for companies everything is up in the air now.

Buick only has 3 models now.. I would think they would need something else besides the '10 LaCrosse and Enclave..

Yes I would agree with only those 2 they need a smaller model and that would be it then. Pontiac would then fill in with their couple cars for the "EXCITEMENT" crowd.

The Regal/Insignia will be coming, just there is no official word on it as far as I know.
