Kia Forte Coupe Spied

Featured Replies

Yup, I was noticing what appears to be a pillarless greenhouse, too. The windows are too dark to discern the presence of a B-pillar, though. I suspect it's got frameless door glass and a glued-in quarter glass over a B-pillar, like the Camaro... but wouldn't it blow some minds if it were a budget-priced Korean hardtop coupe? I guess we'll see soon enough. :mind-blowing:

If the production version stays fairly faithful to the concept version, then this should be one sweet little ride. I think the sedan version is one of the nicer looking compact sedans on the market (especially since Mazda chose to ruin the front end of the Mazda3 with that ridiculously overdone lower grille treatment).

I definitely can't believe I'm making these kind of comments about a Kia product! How drastically times have changed!

Interesting...the concept was a hardtop, IIRC. This certainly looks like a hardtop, if it were frameless door glass and a glued-in quarter glass over a B-pillar, I would think more would be showing between the door glass and quarter glass--looks like a very thin strip between them. That would be quite interesting if it were a hardtop....hasn't been a mass market ht in the US since the early '80s? --a Corolla or two, and maybe the (Mitsubishi) Dodge Challenger?
