March 20, 200917 yr The Buick is going to be donked. The other cars are already tinted and tuned. The Prius could use a sunroof.
March 20, 200917 yr Upgrade to FE5 (SS) struts all around for a 1" drop - I might actually do this if I can on the cheap GM lip kit body side molding removal possibly the GMPP intake/exhaust if it doesn't make the car sound ricey
March 20, 200917 yr You've all heard the plans for the Camino, but other than that, I don't plan any mods. The truck is fine like it is. I just want the Wagon and Mothertruck completed. And the Jag needs a new home.
March 20, 200917 yr Suck up much? Someone has a little brown on their nose and white around their mouth.
March 20, 200917 yr Buick- finish it. Too many things to list. 2500HD - replace the front bumper (have one), put bed rail covers on, replace tailgate edging, fabricate a 'long things' rack for one side of the bed, so I can carry circa 16' trim/lumber, etc.
March 20, 200917 yr I want my Eldorado done and the Burb done over and retired to weekend warrior/road trip machine, which means I need to find a new daily......
March 20, 200917 yr I'd like to have my windows tinted just enough to help keep the cabin cooler during the summer. That, and shine the exhaust tips up, since they've been looking dull lately.
March 20, 200917 yr Ummm... OK I'm going to be totally boring here and say - nothing. I'm happy with it the way it is.
March 20, 200917 yr Immediate mods to the Focus: MACH headlights, clear turn signals and marker lights. LED brake lights (?) New wheels, 17 inches or larger. Re-tint the windows. Link Looks like this:
March 20, 200917 yr I have a bed extender that mounts to my trailer hitch for that...it's pretty handy. Seen 'em, but don't think so. I already have a 20-foot long truck... hanging another non-articulated 9.5' out the rear brings it up to 30 feet. Far too congested here in Jersey for that, plus you can't see it while driving ! I once carried a 14' long steel frame in the 6.5' bed of my HD- tailgate up, 6.5' hanging over the bumper, front end weighted down, no problems. What exactly do you like about it, BP? I assume you use it very infrequently ? I'd prefer to have really long stuff up in the air above the roof- no damage risk, no decreased mobility.
March 20, 200917 yr hmm I want to turn my caprice into a track car... Stiffen and lower suspension $1600 drop in a 350 EFI create from edelbrock. 425 hp!! $10000 Rebuild trans with shift kit add wholeshot torque converter. $500 Change rear end $? Put 17 inch torque thursts with wide good year eagles. $900 Looking at around 15k into a beat up car with a solid frame to go have fun at the track... One day maybe...
March 20, 200917 yr Corsica: Darker paint job, maybe maroon or black Solid grille Tinted taillight covers Turbo Ecotec Sunfire: Tasteful front splitter that doesn't exist Tasteful side skirts that also don't exist Tasteful rear spoiler that also doesn't exist Turbo Ecotec I'm not really well versed in aftermarket car parts.
March 20, 200917 yr Riviera: Replace/rebuild the transmission. Replace the supercharger. Smaller pulley's for said supercharger. Gutted air box and/or CAI New belts, alternator, and related components. New computer, plus tuner chip. New coil packs, plugs, wires. Possibly rebuild the top half of the motor and or replace the entire engine. New tints ( cops made me remove mine once already) Replace some burnt out bulbs on the interior. Repaint the car, most likely in same color. A nice set of wheels ( haven't decided on a set) Delta 88: Everything....lol Rust repair/sheet metal replacement all chrome and stainless restored New grille's New driver's side taillight Remove Vinyl top Frame sandblasted and powder coated Completely new interior ( every piece, leaning towards custom fabrication on this end) Tints Wheels and tires ( undecided on which yet) Rebuild my original Rocket 350 Add dual exhaust Replace the transmission with either a TH400 or possibly a 700R4. Plus whatever mods come along the way in the journey of rebuilding the motor. That's all off the top of my head at 6:42 in the morning...lol. Edited March 20, 200917 yr by Delta Force79
March 20, 200917 yr No more modding for me until my vehicles have no payments. But if money wasn't a factor: Headers Corsa Exhaust New rims Twin turbos Upgrade suspension all around 600hp to the wheels sounds very fun
March 20, 200916 yr My Mercedes, B-59 & most any V8 car I have ever owned all seemed to lack the same thing: the infinite beauty, over the top exclusivity & amazing wonder of a Cadillac 452 V-16.
March 22, 200916 yr Bumper Sticker - Honk if you love Carl-Peter ... That'd be a waste of your money, no one would ever honk. As for me, it'd be pretty sweet to do some type of forced induction, headers, and exhaust on the GTO. I'd be happy with just headers and exhaust, though.
March 22, 200916 yr Impala- 17 Inch Factory Alloys Cobalt- 16 Inch Factory Alloys, Leather Wheel, New USB Stereo, Factory Sedan Spoiler, Chrome Appearance Package.
March 23, 200916 yr Seen 'em, but don't think so. Correct, I only use it 6 or 7 times a year. I bought it to get a 32ft ladder (16-17ft collapsed) home from Home Depot years ago. I use it move the ladder around sometimes and it was popular when I helped my friend re-sheetrock the inside of a few rooms in his house and he went with the 12ft long sheets, hauled the 16ft beams for his shed, etc etc. The 100 bucks it cost has been worth the price. I also use it sometimes to haul a canoe on the roof of the truck and extend over the bed so I can put camping stuff in the bed. Rack can be adjusted to either extend the bed or line up roof height. My truck is 18-18.5 ft long (1500, x-cab, 6.5ft bed), so I agree having all that length back there is less than ideal! But it's easier than borrowing my friend's car trailer when I want to haul long items...though if I ever upgrade to a GMT-900, the overhead racks that are removable in the bed rail system are on my list of accessories to investigate (as is the integrated trailer brake controller).
