November 11, 200520 yr Not suprized being that its the ONLY Ausi built model for sale in the U.S.-----Witch is a SADD thing really!-----Why go to the trouble and the cost to put that LITTLE thing on there?
November 12, 200520 yr I saw the press release about adding the GM badge to every car earlier this year. I believe it won't be 10 years and all of the individual makes will disappear. There will be not Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick, GMC etc... You will see the GM Corvette, the GM pickup, the GM Suburban etc....
November 12, 200520 yr The GTO doesn't have it because it doesn't represent the "new GM." There are others that don't have it such as the GMT800s, GMT360s, and other more dated models.
November 12, 200520 yr Author Oh no, the new Monte Carlos have the badge, I sure as hell hope they don't represent the "new GM"
November 12, 200520 yr Well Croc alot of people thought the Camaro would last forever and the Firebird/Trans-Am and Oldsmobile.....
November 12, 200520 yr they had to cost production costs to pay the labor wages and incentives? J/K....
November 13, 200520 yr The GTO doesn't have it because it doesn't represent the "new GM." There are others that don't have it such as the GMT800s, GMT360s, and other more dated models. I actually put them on my 2004 cavalier. they look kinda good on it..
November 13, 200520 yr Sorry, but I just do not see the point of slapping those badges on any car, espcially one that never had them to start with.
November 14, 200520 yr I'm going to put one on each of my classic Camaros (Probably in the interior somewhere.) I think the GM badge was an EXCELLENT idea. Now, that said, the placement of some of the GM badges (Like on the Equinox or Colorado)... NOT such a good idea
