Apparently in Korea, trees don't require space for roots, and there aren't horrific winds at skyscraper heights! Some of the balconies may be ok (and some probably intolerably windy), but I can tell you this - those parks in the spaces that are open all the way through the building aren't going to have a single leaf on the trees. Wind tunnel anyone? The general idea is neat, but overall it seems like the ideas that make it interesting and unique are the most flawed.

April 15, 200916 yr I was under the impression that most trees have a root system that's as large as the tree canopy. As a matter of fact, most cities are removing certain specimen trees (like ficus) because the root system is so aggressive that it cracks concrete and buckles sidewalks.
