Well Direct TV just put XM on the music channels. I actually use them often through the sterio. So anybody have any favorites ? Im only assuming they are titled the same nationally. Ive been listening to Deep Tracks thats been playing some stuff I forgot all about. Right now Pink Floyd from a BBC recording in 1970, wow, I think Im having a flashback. In the early 70's I used to listen to this station that came out of RPI college in Troy NY, those college students always played this more progressive non commercial music and thats what its like listening to this now. It was like the underground back then.
Well, so far, as I've been listening in the rental, my focus has drawn toward: -The Rhyme (65) -Sporting News (143)--great to hear what's on nationally, since the local Sportiong News affiliate, 1540, covered the entire daytime with local hacks. I missed Arnie Spanier. -XM Comedy 150--probably my favorite right now. Yesterday, they were playing some early Chris Rock, from before he started yelling and heavily cursing. Great set.
Ok, I am a loyal XM subscriber and here are my top 10 presets 1- 60s on 6 2- 70s on 7 3- Nashville (11) 4 Top Tracks (46) 5 80s on 8 6 Nascar 7 The Blend 8 America (10) 9 90s on 9 10 MLB or whatever I want, maybe chrome or maybe somthing else
Canada has finally been dragged into the 21st century, no thanks to the CRTC. We will have XM Radio in GM vehicles starting in two weeks. In fact, although GM is offering 3 months free, the free months don't start until March 1, so technically you would be getting 7 months free is you signed up by December 1.
