April 20, 200916 yr I arrived at the Indianapolis 500 having been just completed, untested & unknown to the public. Still, I managed to finish a respectable 11th place and later this fact was used in a marketing campaign. The next year we (as a brand) won 25 of the 30 races we entered! Later, one of my derivatives was named after an exotic fictional animal which could be called a Ursidae-Felinus. This car is best remembered in yellow with a very spartan body, monocle windshield & massive four cylinder engine. Also, one of my ancestors ran a solo cross country endurance race known as the Cannonball Run.
April 20, 200916 yr Author Yup... I guess it was a bit too easy. 6.4 liters of two-piece-cast bock 4-cylinder & it even had a REAR mounted transmission eight decades before the 5th gen. Corvette.
