I wanted t o be able to hit one last 1,000 mark before the engine comes out. Today it happened and I thought I'd share.

Wow, good job, there hasn't been a Chrysler product hit that kind of mileage since the old Slant Six days!

Uh uh uh...don't forget about a certain little Shadow

Those things ran forever!

Yes they did!

I think that was the year your mom rode my Big Dick from Wilmington all the way to Abilene, IIRC.:smilewide:
  • 2 weeks later...

I guess it's true what they say about Abilene in the song, eh? :P

Nice work DF and keep those miles cranking!

+1 Very cool!

Almost the highest mileage Chrysler I've seen.

The father of one of my exes had a LeBaron with 340,000 km. That was one hurting car.

ps. Google says 340 000 kilometers = 211 266.205 mi

I have to go check the odometer but the Shadow has 214,000 or 215,000 miles on it.

Sometimes its just too easy.

Yes but unlike the gen Tundra, it's not in danger of braking in half. :P

Aren't all cars in danger of breaking in half?

Nope just Toyotas :neenerneener:

If you've seen the underside of his Shadow, you'll see that its not just Toyotas in danger of breaking in half.

Shhh...it's a rare Chrysler prototype he has...with factory installed "flow through" ventilation.

Actually, There are a couple of very intact Shadows with no rust down at the local pick-en pull. If you wanted another project after the Intrepid, I may have a body donor for you.

Chris

Very cool..my Jeep just hit the halfway mark to that number today, 98000 miles on the 10 freeway heading home..

So you ARE alive?

I've texted you "what's up?" like three times in the past three weeks with no response.

Really? Only got one and it was at midnight when I noticed it, so I figured I shouldn't wake you. :P

I'm planning to stop by Holland's tomorrow for a radiator, you gonna be around?
