My visiting with a local Chevy Dealer - owner

While visiting with the owner of my local Chevy Dealer, the subject of GM's future came up. He stated that with 40% of GM dealers being closed, it will be impossible for GM not to file for BK. He stated that GM could not get enough government cash, and doesn't have enough lawyers to cover all of the potential law suits. At the end of the conversation i was in agreement with him regarding this matter.

Any thoughts on this?

Otherwise why raise the spectre of one for months if not to gage the sentiment?

The Government provides a big apron to hide behind.

I pretty much give up on two of Detroit's three.

I'll hold out some hope, but I no longer look forward to upcoming product launches or replacements.
