May 9, 200916 yr Anyone have experience with this stuff? In order to get the color scheme I want for my interior I either have to live with black/gray but have to hunt down the rare black/gray leather door panels, or paint the upper door panels (vinyl arm rest and upper door panel) black.
May 9, 200916 yr Not sure about that stuff, but as far as interior painting goes I have always heard VHT is the stuff to go with.
May 10, 200916 yr Author I think I found something better for what I want to do: http://www.leatherworldtech.com/ProductInf...%20Slate%20Grey Color matched to my car's interior too. Anyone used this?
May 10, 200916 yr Sorry...didn't catch this was for leather at first glance. Look up "Leatherique". Definitely the best product I have seen for dying leather.
May 10, 200916 yr Author It's vinyl I'm looking to dye. It was suggested on lhforums.net but no one has actually had experience with the stuff. From their site: Professional grade water base coating for Top-Coated or Pigmented Leathers & Vinyl. Do not use on wax, oil or nubuck leathers. This is for the Leather World Technologies product. As for Leatherique, I know the conditioner is said to be the best stuff out there by members who use it. I need to pick up some now that I have leather seats.
