Was driving home from a family wedding and found this in my wifes hometown of 1,500 on the local Chevy dealers lot... It was a 2LT Camaro with an automatic and sunroof, sadly it was missing the polished 19's or the RS package with 20's. The color my wife liked, I said it would get old fast, but it sure was sexy. Still not as sexy as the 2SS I saw at the car show is Milwaukee in Feb. Anyways here are the photos, be sure to enjoy! And tell me what you think!

Nice pictures! I linked them to a buddy who's not too big on Domestics, and he was very surprised with how great the car looked. He was even more impressed when I told him it wasn't the top of the line model with the V8 either. 8)

Nice pics. I like it in yella. I think the RS package makes the car look much more upscale than non RS packages. There's a small dealer about 40 miles from me with a silver Camaro with the RS package. I've not gone to look at it yet. Soon though.

Camaro looks gorgeous in all colors and trim levels I have seen so far.

were they selling it at msrp?

Good question, no mark-up posted on it, but the dealer was closed on Saturday at 6pm so I honestly have no idea.

Nice pics.

Thanks! I tired and only had the K10D with me because I was at a in-laws wedding out of town.

And tell me what you think!

Me thinks I need to see one of these in person...up close, that is.

*sighs*

Not that I'd be able to afford one, but ... sure would be nice to see it in person.

Good pics...thanks for sharing!

God, I hate yellow... the pics are great, though! Wonder how it'd look in another colour, as the car looks good even without the RS package.

As a fan of yellow cars I'd like to respectfully disagree with ZL-1. Listen to your wife, GM4life!

Actually it looks better in the Orange colr they have.

Chris

I've yet to see one on the street in the hands of an owner.

Have seen about a dozen, in transit, on car carriers or 'on-the-hoof' being driven to a dealer event in Philly about 3 weeks ago.

I'm conflicted for not having waited to buy one.

I'm not as conflicted as I thought I would be. I chalk that up to the aging process. I'll be happy when my Brother's car is delivered, now pushed back until late September, and perhaps I'll ask him to swap cars once in awhile.

But I think that in terms of Camaro enthusiasm that my 'crisis' has passed. Still, the Camaro is a great looking, very appealing car and cultural icon.

I agree. Great pics and sweet car, but I also don't like the yellow. Its too "mustard".

A more pale "mellow" Yellow, or a sharper yellow (like the movie Bumblebee car) would have been better. :scratchchin:

As of yet, there are still zero Camaros at any of my local Chevy stores.

I did see an Inferno Orange Metallic on the road for the first time ever a few days ago. It was an SS/RS, and It came up fast from behind with its halos. Looked amazing!

I saw a fully-loaded 2SS Inferno Orange Metallic, manual at Malouf Cadillac-Chevrolet in North Brunswick, NJ about three weeks ago. Forgot to mention that. It's sticker said: $45,600.00. (wow)

The side-windows are not very tall so the sticker's plastered on the windshield. I wanted to sit in it, try-out the fit, but was conflicted in that what I might do, foolishly, on impulse, could lead to a pathological case of buyer's remorse. Sometimes, discretion is the better part of valor.

They have a Silver 2SS at the dealer closest to me and they want $43,000 for it! This doesn't suprise me though because they tried to rip me off when I went there to buy a pickup.

gm4life is sooo lucky to have a good GM dealer near him.

Most of the ones in Columbus, Ohio just royally suck.

Again, Daryl Z71, not suprised they tried to rip you off...

But again, a great looking car...in the orange...

Too bad you can't order it in the blue that comes on the new challenger...actually either of them. Wish you could still order a car in a custom color from the carmaker. FACT-in 1968 a customer ordered a Mustang GT Fastback from Ford, and wanted in apinted John Deere Green...and Ford did it.

Be nice if companies could do that now.

But thanks again for the pics gm4life...

Chris

...and no, I don't want a new Camaro in John Deere green, either...

Chris

I'd be happy w/ a '10 Camaro SS in Vedoro Green w/ black interior.

...you know me too well. Verdero is the best GM color ever IMHO.

Eeven cooler would be a retro GTO built like the new Camaro on the same platform...also in Verdero green.

Chris
