May 27, 200916 yr Lookin' good! I've never been a huge 4th Gen F-Body fan, but the Firebirds of the likes of yours and Camino's former Firehawk are swaying me, just a little. Can't wait to see what's going under the hood. A buffed up V6 will be a neat combo.
May 28, 200916 yr Author What I'm going to do with the car: fix the dents and dings, repaint it black, put a gold hood bird on it, buy a set of 18" Year One reproduction gold snowflake rims, install a T/A rear hatch lid, T/A front and rear fascia and ground effects, a SLP Ram Air hood, gold Pontiac emblem for the front fascia, leather seats and door panels, Hurst shift handle, and gold-faced gauges. As for the engine ... that's classified. :AH-HA_wink:
May 29, 200916 yr Author By the way, the process of "rising the phoenix" is going to require me to pick up another car; a cheap beater. Time to find that ragged-out late second-generation Trans Am I've long been looking for ...
May 30, 200916 yr !!! Please make sure if you change the color you don't leave any visible sign if its whiteness, as that will detract from its awesomeness. White with gold also looks cool, a Hurst tradition.
June 2, 200916 yr Author Quick question: I had the power window motor on the driver's side replaced in order to make my windows function again. The driver's side is operational now, but the passenger side still doesn't roll down. When I first went about having the problem corrected, the dealership I had taken the car to (Adams Pontiac-Buick-GMC in Richmond) said that the switch was bad. I've replaced the switch on the passenger side and, yep, still nothing. I'm thinking it's the master switch on the driver's side. Then again, it could be the relay, another bad power window motor ... So if someone could give me their two cents, I'd really appreciate it. Edited June 2, 200916 yr by YellowJacket894
