June 5, 200916 yr Why do I need to constantly log back in? Most of the time, I open this site, log in, click view new posts, read a couple, then try to reply to one, and when I click submit post, it says I can't because I need to log in. I log in again, and I'm taken back to the front page, with my reply not being posted. It's getting very annoying. Edited June 5, 200916 yr by CaddyXLR-V

I can go several days w/o logging in, both in going to the main page from a bookmark or directly or clicking on a update email. Edited June 5, 200916 yr by Cubical-aka-Moltar
June 5, 200916 yr Author Well my browser settings have never been changed, and it never used to do that to me on any computer I use until a couple weeks ago, and now it does it on any computer I use.
June 5, 200916 yr I can reset your cookie hash for you. yes, I know that sounds like something completely different.
June 5, 200916 yr Clear out your cookies and try it again. We may need to reset your password. BTW, are you on dialup or something? You have 79 unique IP addresses logged for your account.

June 5, 200916 yr Not quite the same, but for me, the site doesn't always automatically log me in like it used to. I'm finding I have to manually log on sometimes upon loading up the forums.
June 6, 200916 yr If your IP Address changes to one we haven't seen before, you'll get the log in prompt again
June 6, 200916 yr If your IP Address changes to one we haven't seen before, you'll get the log in prompt again BV, you have 1056 IP Addresses listed for you, all of them very similar. I'm guessing your ISP assigns you a new IP frequently. Edit: Actually it looks like your ISP changes your address every 12 hours.... which is retarded, but whatever.

June 6, 200916 yr Moral of the story is, if the board sees you trying to log in from an IP it hasn't seen for you before, it will ask for your credentials again.
