November 28, 200520 yr It looks like a "computer enhanced" spy image. Note the checkerboard camo on the rear half of the car... that's real, I bet. The front half appears to be someone's wish, you know it had to be heavily camoed.
November 28, 200520 yr I wonder how close to reality it is? Edited November 28, 200520 yr by Cremazie
November 28, 200520 yr Whatever the final details end up looking like, I think GM would do well with a modern V8 RWD sedan in NA. I really don't understand GM's product planning people. This is the kind of car that made GM great- V8, RWD, good looks add great driving dynamics and you have a winner. Plus this car is being developed in house. All GM needs is to retool plants. Build this and they will be running plants 3 shifts/day not shutting them down. But, noooooooo ....
November 28, 200520 yr Looks kind of squished in the front. I could go for a longer nose. [post="49429"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Then everyone would complain about the overhangs.
November 28, 200520 yr It only, sort of, looks like that. If you see the originals you will also see where some of the details are not quite right - shape of the lights, grille etc. They are still fixated on a big 6.0 L V8, and I don't see Holden using a truck engine as the base V8 any more than the LS2.
November 28, 200520 yr All I know is GM N.A. needs at least 3 RWD cars right now... and that;s not including the Camaro & or Monte Carlo.

[post="49512"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Hows about not just 3 RWD cars again? How about 3 different RWD 4 seater platforms? It is looking like VE may get a plant in the US afterall. That is right Sigma, Sigma lite, AND VE in the US. Could be a VERY exciting show year for RWD fans.
November 28, 200520 yr So it may not be too much of a head turner in looks. Big deal! RWD, V8 for the average consumer? ILL TAKE ONE!
November 28, 200520 yr Stick a fork in GMNA, they're done, if they don't give us a more exciting exterior than that spy photo. RWD? BRING IT ON, BAYBEE!

November 29, 200520 yr Reminds me of the Mazda 3 sedan-nice, but pleasantly bland, especially in the front end.
November 30, 200520 yr You know, I don't honestly mind the bland-ish styling, considering that damn near everything is really bland looking, and if someone makes something different, they get yelled at for it being Retro, so I'd have to say, V8, RWD, bring it on, I'll buy one.
