I hope you Detroiters out there stay safe in what I can only assume will be horrific riots following the Red Wings losing Game 7 at home.

Good thing is even with the riots it's impossible for most of Detroit to look any worse.

Chris

Do hockey fans riot? Or is that a stupid question regarding residents of DEtroit?

I'm pretty sure residents of Detroit (well, the few people that remain in Detroit) will riot over just about anything. Its in their DNA.

I have to say, I am overjoyed that they lost...I really don't like the Redwings at all...

When the Tigers won.... I repeat WON the World Series in '84 in D, the fans flipped over cars and lit them on fire. Fun town.

Go Penguins! With the Avalanche out, I have to root for the Penguins, since the Red Wings have long been the enemies of the Avalanche.

The idiot students at Ohio State do the same thing when Ohio State beats Michigan...

I'm too tired to riot... :scratchchin:

I'm sad we lost, but it was a hell of a series. I'm sure we'll be back next year...

The hunger the Pens had helped em' win.

I think the Wings were nursing quite a few injuries considering even the young guys were slow those last few games...

Yeah, actually WORKING for a living leaves me too tired & busy to riot. <_<

Thought if I ever DO riot it will be in Washington D.C.

damn.... I cant believe they lost. but i really haven't herd of a riot near Detroit in years unless it was at U of M or MI State.

I dont think the city of Detroit is ever going to shake the stigma of '67.

Probably because everyone is either already dead or too broke to afford the gas for their Molotov Cocktails.
