November 29, 200520 yr Well, that's certainly good news if it's true. It would appear the Red Tag event has at least brought sales back up to pre-employee pricing levels.
November 29, 200520 yr On November 23, 2005, the Detroit Free Press ran an article that GM and Ford's November Auto Sales would be 10% lower with Chrysler sales downward of 5%. The Detroit threesome would again lose market share as the Asian Imports sales headed upward with Toyota, Honda and others leading the way.
November 30, 200520 yr I suppose that all the new cars are finally picking up a bit. Lucerne, DTS, Impala, HHR. If only GM could keep 25% market share.
November 30, 200520 yr well then we'll have to see which report turns out to be true. [post="50300"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Unless of course, Ron Zarella cooks the numbers, in which case you certainly can't trust what you read.....

November 30, 200520 yr Sales have definatly rebounded from october... October we were doing 16 cars in a weekend... OMG!!! november we saw a 55 and a 40 and a 35... but keep in mind, when the last remodel of the tahoe and silverado came out we were doing 70 average on a weekend... not just 40... so when these new Lutz inspired GMT900s comeo out I will expect 80-90 cars per weekend out of our dealership... and at full pop too... no discounts...
November 30, 200520 yr What? Where are the AMC sales? [post="50226"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] Wildmanjoe hasn't loaded up the Javelins and Ambassadors onto his car carrier yet.
November 30, 200520 yr Red tag promotion certainly worked on me. I don't know if Cadillac dealers even participate in the promotion but the one I visited a few days ago had red tags with attractive lease deals on their cars. That little red tag made me walk inside and next thing you know I have a new car.
