I tried to reply to the thread that was recently added about the '11 Camaro convertible (the one added by JamesBond), and got this error message:

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

Sorry, you do not have permission to reply to that topic

DF I think he hit the thread for C&G top stories rather than actual article itself.

The thread is marked 'CLOSED' now for some reason. Seems to be a duplicate anyway.

Well that would explain the problem

But that shouldn't be public anyways? Wonder what happened?

I blame JamesBond because he posted it. :P

Seriously though, it'll have to be looked into.

Moltar, that thread is exists to show up on the front page, it's not supposed to be visible. It just serves to redirect front page viewers to the main article.

When I click on the post, it shows it as 'C&G Top Articles'. It doesn't show it being in another forum...I figured 'C&G Top Articles' was a redirect to another forum, but it's just not apparent which one that is..

Rob

M might have called Mr. Bond so he forgot that important detail.

See, Rob himself said what thread he hit. Let us wait and see if the problem persists.

Oh, those closed news threads aren't supposed to show up? They've been showing up in View New Posts as duplicates for well over a month for me. I didn't know they weren't supposed to show...and I also wondered what their point was.
