'73-'80 Chevy/GMC Truck Road Tests

Featured Replies

Damn Harley... you got me all excited when I saw "Vintage GMC...", only to find out it covered '73-'87 trucks. Those years are now considered "vintage"???

Sorry about that....good point...I honestly thought over 30 years ago as 'vintage'....so I edited it.

I would call them 'vintage'...certainly not late-model...

Well, I have Hemmings 2005 & 2006 "Vintage" Pickup calendars and there's nothing new past the mid-'60s. I understand the fact that those '73-'87 trucks are no longer spring chickens, but I find it hard to call any post-1972 truck "vintage". Maybe classic, but not vintage.

And HE, nothing personal! I just thought I'd be seeing some '40s and '50s GMCs :P
I call the 1981 Bonneville and the 1984 Buick Park Avenue Modern classics. Everyone laughs but its true.
